Thank you to the good people from One Foundation Limited for supporting us with TWO grants at the end of 2019.
The majority of the funds were allocated to the Engineering workshop with the Carpentry workshop receiving a new table saw and extractor unit.
Our Engineering workshop received THREE new top of the range lathes with digital readouts. We also received some of the consumables and accessories for the lathes to get the students going on their projects immediately. Our new 50Ton hydraulic press with press brake attachment will make light work bending and shaping our 3mm steel plate for various projects this year, including our now "world-famous" BBQs and fireboxes We also received a well-stocked toolbox with a variety of tools and a storage unit that will be storing our Chemz Ltd spray cans and workshop consumables.
